The Problem with the Internet:
As a global communications network, the Internet was bound to create major problems, such as being a mechanism for:
Attacking enterprises or individuals, for example: scamming, blackmailing, stealing or vandalising
Accumulating vast centralised wealth
Monopolising specific business sectors
Spreading false information
Gathering vast amounts of information on people, such as their political, cultural, social or religious beliefs
Influencing politics or elections.
A Possible Solution:
National economies protect their indigenous enterprises and population through:
Provision of a secure nationwide network (SNN) that is not connected to the Internet
Regulation of SNN providers
Application of an SNN license fee based on commercial or personal usage of the network
Maintenance of the network funded by the user license fee.
